    Call Centre security verif question

If a man rings up and says "Hi my name is Anne Blogs, my DOB is ####" and he has all the womans verif details correct, would u process the call as normal or would u say "im sorry but u sound like a man"???

    What would YOUR process be?

At Lloyds you had to process the call as normal, as if they had got the information correct "How much did you spend in asda last week" "name a standing order" "how many accounts do you have" blah blah its quite a slim chance it could be anyone else, although when the call is finished we had to log it as a spurios call, so someone else could have a listen and possibly contact the customer about this. Obv there is no way of checking on the call although we have had people explain that they had a sex change!

not really, but most of them can tell your asking extra questions. i do sometimes question their sex by cos at the end of the day, if i give information to someone i shouldnt its me who gets fined for breaking data protection, not the company.
