Boxing day crasher Fun night Riley and durrant were great as a warm up - got everyone moving in the lobby bit before they opened up the main dancefloor at 10.30 John O Callahan was class - The club was going off it at about 10.45 which is about 3 hours earlier than im used to! Matt was good aswell - His first 30 and last 30 minutes were the best. Middle bit dragged a bit since they all had the same kind of tunes, but he was mint. Jules and Sander i didnt get to hear since i left at about half 3 but i hear Jules wasnt up to much? The states in our hotel room at 6am were funny - it was like an old persons home with people unable to speak or hear properly and repeat each sentence about 3 times. Some poor lad in the worst state of all was sent to put money in the car parking meter and kept getting it wrong .... after feeding 14 quid into the machine and coming back for the second time to try and explain why ... he was helped out 3 Hours kip and then another drive to London yesterday in a bit of a state. 14 hours in bed yesterday and up at 7 for work today. Great night tho - Had a really good time with all the people who made the effort and the big drive all the way down from the North East. Great first time at Crasher aswell, and i particularly enjoyed some of the 'outfits' on show
sounds like it was good, i heard it was a sell out? i want to hear more of riley & durrant's warmups after the one they did at gods..
Sold out aye - most of the club felt like a complete sauna ... and it was stupidly hot on the dance floor! I spent most of the night doing laps of the club looking for bits where the aircon was blowin The warm up was brilliant ... I think everyone was just so up for it that the fact it was only 10pm and light trance was being played was ignored and people just started dancing.
I had a great night too, Jules was shit but I thought everyone else was top notch! Were you still there when the whole room went white? I thought theyd blown up the machine off lost again, it was such a weird experience! Glad I dont have epilepsy like lol. And yeah...the 'outfits' :worship:
yeah it was so bright they were flashing on and off as a tune was going off, flashing faster as it built up and then were on for about 5 secs, think it was during Jules or Sanders set. I thought Id had one balloon too many it was mad! It was so bright I couldnt see the person next to me, I dunno how they did it
Re: Boxing day crasher you fell in love 5 times or something Was a brilliant night, tune of the night: Pearl River Can't believe Eddie played that as his last tune. He was totally different to the last few times I'v seen him. O'Callaghan was brilliant as was Sander's first half hour, I left after that as few of us ended up being sick. I didn't think much of Jules set but I noticed a few people were loving it. Total wreckage in our hotel room at 6am Lawsey going to the ticket machine 3 times PMSL and I wish I seen a certain person walking around the hotel at 7am trying to find our room like a little old man PMSL After you left Mick said to me and Kayley he was going into car park to check my car as 2 guys were giving tickets out, Kayley told Mick to get 3 she thought they were handing tickets out for an event not Parking Tickets I think all who went had a mint time, the first visit to Crasher for me and certainly will not be the last
Was my first time back there since the refurb from 'Rebuplic' I like the fact where ever you are in the club (expect from the house room, obviously) you can here the main room set's all over at a decent volume need to watch what im doin, could not hear a thing after the club... mainroom speakers were squeeling, not playing music.! and £4 for a can of redstripe? how does that work? :spangled: pisstake in my opinion, beside that  i had a mint night !!!! Fanny Trance from Ridley & Currant @ the start was good stuff! All the women love them two JOC was top of the pops played 'Louder' (Robert Nickson remix), a male vocal trancer that was Eddie, not my bounce at all.... played few good traxxx tho Jules played that bootleg of marcel woods and the drill i think it is unlucky, Loved Hardwick, aint seen him in ages!!! 'Connected' and 'Day One' got played good lad Sander Van Doorn's is class, mixing was'nt seamless, but he pulls some tracks out, fuckin hell My hearing is just comming back and im thinking of buy earplugs. Had 15 hours sleep last night..... hav'nt been that smashed in ages, quality script... yes it was me hobbling about the travelodge like a little old man trying to find the room. nice one to all you's who were on top form, quality laugh nice to bump into Lee down there too EDIT ; Photo's up ; http://www.nucastle.co.uk/showthread.php?s=&threadid=62112
Eddie starting with destination sunshine and playing pearl river were the highlights but I thought everyone except the judge and van doorn were mint... The two lasses with the trippy helmets on were mint
Iv just remembered those I think that is what started me mate being sick, she totally freaked out at them 2, they had a little camera on the front of the helmet and were videoing everyone I could see myself in this little tv on her head, got the fright of my life I think I met you :spangled: and Club Head for the 2nd time
i had a good night, was a bit messy i must admit. but remember "basic dawn - pure thrust" gettin played never stopped dancing all night and me legs were like jelly by the end of the night. good craic all day and looking forward to next trip down !!!!! nice to meet a few new peeps too!!!!
was nice to meet ya again. was a quality night but i had to leave early cos i was really ill. but the time i spent inside was quality. will defo be goin bak there again.
