Bin rummagers in NE6

    Bin rummagers in NE6

    Apparently theres loads of bin contents getting nicked in the Heaton area with things like statements and letters getting used to create flase id's etc........ iv noticed this myself at least twice my bin bags have been nicked overnight and theres been warning flyers been put thru doors in the area... apprently it happens at like 8am when there are loads of people walking about but no one questions them... BE AWARE BOARD MEMBERS

    we have actual skip rats in Fenham that drive up and down the back streets picking up things they can sell on.

    Whenever we move house we never bother with Envirocall for our unwanted junk, just put it out the back and time it ..

    i always rip up letters and anything with my name or details on... you never know how people could use that stuff.

    we used to get them in Wallsend... i put a £30 video player on top of my wheelybin and it was gone in a few hours.

    WHY DID THEY THINK A VCR WAS IN THE BIN?!?! hopefully it chewed up some of their charver tapes as it did my indiana jones trilogy :evil:

    we have had a knackered TV in our backyard in heaton for about the last 3 weeks...im still shocked it aint be nicked

    we got the flyer about the bin rummagers as well...is nothing safe anymore?

    This has got me worried now!! Mind you, I keep most of my statements anyway

    when i lived in Jesmond last year we had an old mattress in the backyard, which someone set on fire - classy :lol:

    I live near Byker now mind: I don't think the locals' capabilities stretch much further than arson

    im lucky, i live on the right side of the shields road dividing line, otherwise my life would be feared for on a daily basis

    though youre on the right side of the tracks arent you

    such a glamorous part of town...
