Belgium / Brussels Anyone been here? Whats it like for going out and stuff .... nice place? much to do?
Its a v.nice place. One of the cleanest eurpean cities ive visited. And the beers is immensly strong.
I stopped there for a couple of hours on my way to africa once, ate some chocolate was lush, can't remember much else was about 10 ears ago now.
hmmmmmmmm ! nightlife wise its a bit weird in many places ! loads of clubs there now play jumpstyle or schranz.. the schranz nights are not too bad but if you get pulled into a jumpstyle club it could be a nightmare.

Apparently that's just because when the Guiness world record people came to count they only had 2000, but there's normally up to about 3000 different beers available!!
Wicked - i can see myself enjoying alot of those! ... just got an IT contract there for 3 months working 3-5 days a week in brussels.
My brother lived there for about four months before xmas last year. Really liked the city. I've been there a few times too and have always enjoyed it.
it has a bit of a boring rep but I thought it was a really lively cosmopolitan place with nice food too
