Never heard of any of those bands but after going to glasto last weekend and seeing quite a few bands i would suggest checking out these:

    The Zutons
    Kasabian
    Killers

Dunno if you'll like them but i was pretty impressed and i dont normally like that sort of music.

    Check out Jet as well

Check out a band called Robert Randolph and the Family Band as well, seen them on Later with Jools Holland a few months ago and they were fucking rocking. Sort of a funky blues band but quite rock and roll as well. He sits down and uses this sort of slide guitar thats on a table dunno the correct name for it.

His website is www.robertrandolph.net and you can listen to samples there too.

**edit** actually scrap that! mis read what you put :dunce:

phantom planets stuff is ok but a bit stereotypical US wuss rock/indie type thing... or 'alternative' as the americans say

the 88 is cool laid back summery stuff tho :D

no life to them whatsoever apart from somewhere only we know and everybodys changing (which i really like)...

they're missing something... i think dull is the most fitting word to describe them... and i was really looking forward to seeing them cos i love anything with a piano in it :D

One of the best (and one of the only) bands I saw at Glastonbury were The Egg and they were really good. Only thing I can think to compare them to are Death in Vegas.

They've got a new album coming out (or maybe its already out) called Forwards or something.

Gomez were good too I thought.
