oi don't knock garage, just cos you don't like whats in the charts it isn't really a true representitive of the music a few years ago speed garage was the bollocks... look whats in the charts now but then look what dance music is in the charts - ian van dhal.... hrrrrmmmm I still like my garage and I aint ashamed to say so whether its my armin van helden spin spin sugar remixes, my mj cole soulful stuff or my mark ryder - I still feckin like it.
i used to like garage alot, but the more cool, vocal soft stuff, with some melody, like MJ Cole....his rmx of grass is greener is tres good, but now it all seems to be the mo' fire crew rippin' it up, and it just aint that good. but like u say, thats probably just the chart stuff....cos IVD is shite chart trance....
its the so called 'hardcore' garage which gives it such a bad name, they also have very poor tunes aswell
i remember when matt hardwick used to finish his set with castles in the sky the wippenburg mix of it is treeemendus too!! even big dave likes it and he hates anyfing that wiffs even slightly of cheese!
