Have to say the staff at w34 are spot on too. Never had any problems and they have been nothing but helpful in the 4 times or so I've been there. Even lost my fone on Friday and a bouncer let me back after closing and led me to where it could be, and it had been handed in - cheers if that was you btw (that would have been my 4th fone lost, including more numbers so good work)!

Its a shame my black berghaus jacket was not as lucky. Nobody handed that in.

BUT, seconded about the staff - the woman i asked a bunch of times was very courteous and the bouncers were not utter c**ts like most tend to be with trashed members of the rave community at times (me). ;)

Cracking night tho, and gave Newcastle something it has been dying out for - a COOL trance night.

Everyone who organised this should be proud of themselves.

A massive thank you to everyone who attended!

Without you all it wouldn't have been possible. The countless hours of promotion and hard work certainly paid off. I speak for every one at DS NE when i say we are extremely proud we have managed to capture the imagination in Newcastle again.

Thanks to (Dan, James, Paul, Rav, Harry) in Leeds, Shawn and Charlie at W34 and everybody else who has been involved from the bottom up over.

Stay tuned via our Facebook page for news on our second event, and all videos and pictures from Friday.

    Mik :)

Whats the crack with the iPad next to the decks in the JOOF photos, does that work with the CDJ2000's?

Basically yeah! He was telling me it makes it easier for him to flick through his tracks, rather than use the CDJ200 display.

canny. Shame they're not more responsive, they'd be great as a MIDI controller...

I'm sure they can be used as a controller also mate. I've seen quite a few people use them in their studio to control their mixing desk, so I think it can be done.
