    Integration - all about finding the area under a curve.

    Differentiation - solving to find the turning points in a curve.

    ........ I dont envy you at all - absolutely pointless and i found it all really challenging at the time. Its a wonder i came back from an N to a C at A-Level :|

    Wouldnt mind having another go at it now to be honest.

    Good luck :)

    Right questions are as follows.......bear with me as its hard to type all these equations n shit out. I can find out how to do small numbers for the powers and squared so ill put them in brackets.

    Differentiate the following expressions:

    y=3x (to the power of 1/2)

    y = -3x (to the power -4)

    s = (tSquared - 4) squared

    Intergrate the following expressions

    dy
    --- = -2x (to the power -2)
    dx

    dy
    --- = x(squared) + x(to the power 4) - 1
    dx --- --- ---
    3 4 2

    dy
    --- = 2 - 3
    dx --- ----
    3x(squared) 2x(to the 3)

    Also if anyone could do this it would be handy

    A bag contains 5 white balls, 3 blue balls and 2 green balls. Each time a ball is drawn from the bag it is not replaced. In three draws find the probability of obtaining white blue and green balls in thats order.

    Im doing a degree and most of this stuff is like GCSE/A-level stuff im quite ashamed tbh.

    Help me......please:(

    theres not really much working for them tbh;

    the third one you expand the brackets out to tsquared-4tsquared-4tsquared+16 and work it out from there, its all pretty standard stuff of jsut applying the basic principles.

    I'm not guaranteeing they're right though :p
