My lasses nanna when you goto the bottom of her garden another 5 ft and there is the main line scotland to london and when we stopped there holy fuck the noise is unreal and her nanna was "ooo you get used to it" like fuck i did after staying a week there
When you get the train to/from leeds just as your getting in towards the station or leaving the station depending which way your going theres a point where its about 2 meters from some flats one of which has an outside patio area overlooking the railway line and nothing else I imagine the sounds horrendous. as trains must come and go all night
