Go to Sharm El Sheikh Bri, if anywhere in Egypt ! Resort itself is well nice, there's the old town and the new town which speaks for itself and loads of other things to do ! I went with Cass on boxing day 02 for a week and was one of the bets holidays i have had yet, locals are sound even if they do get onto you to buy stuff, food if you look about is ok and there's plenty alcohol to drink ! It was there winter and they were walking round in coats and i was on the beach every day with me shorts n towel along with most others i was with Safe to say its not cold to us.... Only thing i can say is that during the time we were there Tony Blair visits the place the same time every year so expect huge delays !!

Visit Cairo if you go - the pyramids and sphinx are breathtaking, and the Egyptian museum is amazing (gold sarcophigii of Tutankhamon is jaw dropping). But watch ur wallet and camera etc, and don't look too western... and don't wear an orange jumpsuit
