    Antiworld

Sounds like a total flop. A load of stages cancelled because they weren't going to get paid, the promised "stunning psychedelic decor and art" was nowhere to be seen, apparently the sewage company tried to deposit sewage somewhere they shouldn't causing a bit of a mess and the entire festival was cancelled mid-festival for health and safety reasons.

I can't wait to hear the official word for this one, gutted for anyone that went.

How did things go for the Freaky Dancing lot Gav?

Actually it looks pretty good from the photos on DSI, just appears that if you were expecting to hear anything much other than psy trance/a few other arenas and stay untill the end you'd have been royally fucked.

    bad crack

I think theres just 2 much choice for festivals in june / july and people think nothing of hopping on a plane to dance valley these days either

like from end june to end july youve got glasto / antiworld / glade / t in the park / global / dance valley

no one can go to everything

    youd be bankrupt / dead

altho fidla is having a pretty good go like

Enviromentaly friendly pete would have never forgiven me for making him give money to such a non eco-friendly festival.

It's got nothing to do with Glade and glade is still going ahead like planned. It also has minimum fuckups every year.

Got back today at 2am total farce.

Still had a great time on the friday and saturday due to the weather and poeple. Met some great people for the first time and had a wiked laugh with mates.

Hardly anyone other than the psytrance artists turned up,no lineups were printed but the freaky dancing stage happend so we all got to play.

I can't stress enough for no-one to trust anti-world as organisation they are really dodgy bastards who don't care about there punters or anyone who works for them from dj's down to stewards.

Still i have got a tan and made new friends so its not all bad and it got in the mood for a proper festival like glade in less than two weeks.

To be honest i went into it expecting this kind of thing and made the most of it.I really enjoyed playing the set-up was great to mix on.

On friday and saturday i meet some great poeple and had a right laugh all who are going to glade so that should be mint.

Just wish i did not have to work 14hours over the weekend plus dj for the c**nts who ran antiworld as they have tried to rip off gav for all the hard work he put into actual making the event happen.

That whole situation is shit. Sounds like they are just trying to commercialise psy trance and fleece it for as much as they can, psychedelic my arse, sounds more like Mcdonalds than a bunch of hippies trying to have fun and put on a good show.

Apparently all the homega (psy label) artists played for free, hence the psy stage going ahead.

Compare that with the glade promoters who are letting people bring their own nitrous/drink and have fucked off last years security firm for being too heavy handed.
