Agreed that was annoying when every1 was chanting Eddie's name as Matt finished his set.....specially considering Matt wipes floor with eddie!

But anyway wont get into that...

Announcer? Nah, bad idea...I prefer the night just to flow as 1...dont like idea of stoppin n starting kinda thing

Having an announcer wouldnt stop the crowd from shouting a DJs aname when theyre due top come on and they see them in the Dj box :dunce:

I dont like announcers. They remind me of arena events and the charvas that come with them.

Most people who are at Promise know which DJs are which anyway and if they dont its easy enough to find out.

    Worst idea ever.

Mics should be banned from clubs unless it's Tong speaking for a couple of secs over an Ess mix. :king:

I always like 'someone' to thank the last DJ & announce the next DJ

ala Judge Jules ... I nearly spewed when I heard him say "In the mix like a packet of custard" over a live mix.

To stop the crowd chanting they would have to be gagged and I dont think the Promise massive would be too pleased with that.

If people want to be gagged when theyre out, they'll be in an S&M club, not Promise

when he's djing he can say what he wants the only reason he'll hav said that is because it was a live bloody broadcast hence the fact is is allowed to talk over his own set however much he wants.

i know but hes got to when hes does his saturday nite broadcasts live he only says stuff either at the very beginning or the very end of a tune he hardly satrs babbling on in the middle of a bloody tune, he just conducts his live broadcasts on a sat pretty much the same way as he does em in the radio show hence the name "live broadcast" all radio 1 dj's talk a bit over their sets when they do their live broadcasts so stop penalising poor jules for it
