So, following trends and whatnot, I went and did a mashup style mix for my 'End of Year' musical full stop. Bit of a twist as instead of braeing out the past 100 releases of 140bpm slowed-down hard house, it builds up from techno (albeit not that much of it - you'll see why later) through to progressive and full on psy and tech/uplifting trance, with a nice twist at the end. I'll be doing an 8 hour progressive mix on ye olde CDJs (god help my spine) in the next month or two, which should satisfy those of you with progressive tendencies, and will be the counter exercise to this balls-to-the-wall approach.
