Ur best to slowly follow the lessons m8 when u first open it, & like M K said there youtube is good for help :)

It's hard at first like no doubt about that, once u grasp it tho u'll be away :)

Thats pretty much the only one that ive used as i love the guys work. VST's are the instruments used to make your sounds.

Youtube is the best bet - just type in ''ableton tutorials'' and youll be spoilt for choice. Once you garsp the basics it might be worth having a look here if your wondering how to get your head around more complicated things: www.abletonlivedj.com.

VST's are programs that you can download and use with most sequencer programs like Cubase, Ableton, Logic etc. They vary from audio compressors right through to specific effects like reverb. Most people use them as they might be more proffessional sounding than the ones supplied within Ableton.

Getting to grips with it all is a bit of a nightmare but sitting there looking at a screen with loads of questions will just confuse you even more. The best way is to watch vids and slowly build up a better knowledge.

The programme itself is a piece of piss to learn and use, actually getting anything that is even half decent sounding is a complete and utter ballache
