    A19 Billboard...again...

ok ok i'm the A19 Billboard spotter again this week... but i thought i'd better say somert... Mark - dunno if u know, but the bill board on wheels on the A19 in the layby opposite Nissan - looks like some local ragamuffins have kicked it in and then pushed it down the bank... when i passed it yesterday t'was ok, but today it's fooked. half the sides are missing and it's arse end up in the ditch behind the layby. i thought i better let u know...

i hearby swear never to open a post again with 'A19' or 'Billboard' in the title again. :monkey:

    2 men on a mission...

    Tulip & Foster,

    No board too big,

No roundabout too dangerous in rush time traffic,

No mildew wet rabbit infested mole country too yucky,

    No bother!

    ;)

I know from my graffiti days this is highly unadvisable.

there are cameras on nearly every station and the btp take only minutes to arrive @ most stations.

Also trackside aint much better, they're even installing cameras there to scare off young vandals :(

What about putting the 'billboard on wheels' in the field just past Washington Services going Northbound? Would give people visiting the area by the A1M (and I'm sure there would be more coming up this motorway than the A19) chance to see who's on?

P.S. Good work with the posters lads, loads round where I work in Washington and I'm sure theyre around the Chester area too!!!!

What do ppl think about the impact the A19 advert makes?

Im not too sure what 99% of the potential customers would make of "K90 / KERRY JAMES AT FOUNDATION NCL" in massive letters. Basically no ones going to have a clue unless they are a elite clubber anyway.

Joe Charver (the bread and butter to any night up here) isn't going to bat a eye lid at a ad like that.

HARD HOUSE & TRANCE EVERY FRIDAY AT FOUNDATION would be better IMO.

    Thoughts?

    Very good point geeza!

Its a tricky one tho.....you're right, the avg punter wont give a toss about names on the boards...as they mean nothing to them....

But then again if you dont advertise the names then you may risk losing a few "in the know" clubber types....

Tough one, but to be honest I agree with you on this one, I think "Hard House & Trance...." wud maybe work more around here....

As long as u have who's playing on there sumwhere to and it's visible.

    or maybe...

why not have 2 lots of posters?

    1 selling the names...

    1 selling the genre's?

yeahm of course. theres a place for listings on flyers etc. HOOOJ posters and adverts like the A19 one should be aimed at the public tho.

Promise already had the elite clubbers...... it needed the fillers.............
