Newish / less known people get jumped on so badly for every little thing. Everyone just steams in quick as they can to show they were the first one stamping out a non-pc comment.

Doesnt encourage newbies to post. In fact at the Vuzz before last, i spoke to 3 people who say they read the board loads but never post. And it was hardly like i was wondering about talking to loads of randoms. Just made me think, im sure there are loads more. Theres always plenty of guests viewing.

Think a lot of people are almost scared to post!

At the end of the day, the board is here to promote Promise. More people joining is good for the club. It isnt here just to keep a few egos inflated.

aye there's a lad i was talkin to, thionk he said his name was dumbo or summink, who had signed up but was nervous about introducing himself.
he managed to introduce himself to me as he recognised me photo off here so the board must be extremely intimidating!!!

I think newbies get a really warm welcome, especially if they are female Some just ask for trouble tho :laugh:

i joined ages ago but never really posted for bowt 18mnth, i know where theyre coming from like just cos they dont know ppl. its defo a good way of meeting people tho, ive met loadsa mates thru here, hopefully they'll start posting and do the same.

I agree a little bit because most of Shields were scared of Joe harshing them, thats what Nat told me. But once a newbie rides out the storm they will make friends.
