It's on the A68, approx. 22 miles west of Newcastle, just before the chollerford crossroads, on the right hand side, by the national speed limit sign. There's a chance it may have lived long enough to crawl off into the night, however judging by the deafening crunch of bones it is highly unlikely.
Im too lazy to read the first few posts, but has anyone seen a lost looking cat anywhere????? We lost him last night near the chollerford crossroads. He had a collar on with the name 'fluffy' etched on it. Please call if you know anything.
Yes! Your cat's lame attempt to impede my progress home (and therefore to bed) resulted in the loss of it's life due to not following the green cross code, which covers not only the human race, but all species of animal capable of scaling such dangers as the A68. My condolensces are with you Brid, as a gesture which I am only too happy to undertake, I will drop the carcass of at an address of your own decision, but I cannot guarantee it will not be in an advanced state of composition. I was honestly gutted, as I have lost 8 of my own cats to various mishaps, but such is life. Stephen
Aye I was serious. But at the time I was hammered and having a cat myself, I think I lectured the taxi driver all the way to hexham about it, but obviously there's nowt he could do about it.
