    Sam Jones >
Sam Jones was first introduced to the world of Electronic Dance Music when he was 10 years old.He spent all his spare time listening to mix tapes from the likes of Lisa Lashes, Carl Cox, Paul Oakenfold etc. Sam was blown away by it all!! At just 11 years of age, he purchased his set of turntables to get a feel for djing and he quickly fell in love with it.

Sam made his night club debut when he was 15 at a local club called ‘Tycoch’ just outside his hometown of swansea. The promoter was blown away by Sam's skills and booked him on many other occasions. Sam quickly gained confidence with a club crowd and his technical skills developed rapidly.

Things then started to progress more for Sam after he got in touch with one of the uk’s biggest promoters Simon Foy for Scotland’s leading clubnight “>>Inside Out*” held at The Arches in Glasgow. He sent Simon a demo mix and he replied with good feedback but then realised Sam was only 16 so couldn’t book him right away. Later that year in 2009, Simon Foy booked Sam to play for “>>Inside Out*” at 'The Arches' for a trial run on his 17th birthday. Simon was very impressed with Sam's set and he quickly made him a resident for “>>Inside Out*” in November 2009.

Sam’s use of 3 decks and FX to mix up and re-edit tough techno, trance and hard-dance was soon recognised through his live performaces which secured booking at some of the U.Ks best events like Parklife Festival, Isle Life festival, Fire it Up, >>Inside Out*, Gatecrasher, Goodgreef, Escape Swansea, Filth presents... Kearnage to name a few, playing alongside some massive acts such as Eddie Halliwell, Judge Jules, Gareth Emery, John O’Callaghan, Simon Patterson, Scot Project and Bryan Kearney. Sam’s sets always contain an extreme amount of energy, passion and a very clubber friendly atmosphere with his crowd interaction.

On the production side of things, Sam is now starting to develop his own sound. Driving trance and techno with epic breaks all thrown in at 140 bpm ‘Power trance’. He is continuously working hard every day in the studio on Logic, creating this sound.

    Tasso >
Dark, tough tech beats.... Tasso has been ripping out some beasts in the last couple of years and the best is yet to come. Since bursting on to the scene with his update of Tiesto's underground classic 'Flight 643' Tasso has been churning out tune after tune and picking up some pretty decent support along the way, you can find his tracks in the cd wallets of all the big players in the trance scene... Bryan Kearney, JOC, Aly and Fila, Mark Sherry, Paul Oakenfold and a host of other big names all banging out one or more of Tasso's tunes, whether it be an original, remix or one of his huge Bootleg's.This dark sound transfers over to the decks nicely and his sets take you down to the depths of techno and back up to the euphoric sounds of trance, this is someone to watch out for in the next few months, with tracks already poised for release on Discover Dark, Komplex Sounds, Global State and Digitized and a few high profile collabs in the wings, expect to see ALOT of this name!

    Barry Duffy >

Barry has the unique ability to read a crowd, and supply the right selection of tracks to get the dance floor moving. Be it a progressive set or more full on Psy-Trance / Tech-Trance influenced banging mix, Barry always delivers the goods. A rework.ncl resident Barry’s last outing (a back to back set with Amir Hussain) was a real treat for those people who turned up early. A nice melodic mix of deep progressive beats set up the night perfectly for Andy Duguid to take centre stage. You can find a host of Barry Duffy’s recent mixes on his Soundcloud page…
